1. Deliveries

Do you charge for deliveries?
No. All standard orders qualify for free delivery in South Africa: either door-to-door or door-to-counter, depending on where you are located.


When will my order be delivered?
During the check-out process, BOLTON FOOTWEAR ONLINE determines your delivery based on your delivery address and postal code provided.


For all orders within South Africa, irrespective of whether you select door-to-door delivery or door-to-counter delivery, BOLTON FOOTWEAR ONLINE will deliver between 2–7 working days, dependant on where you live.


Can I change my delivery address, after I have ordered?
It is unfortunately not possible to change your delivery address after confirming your order – so please ensure that you check that your address is correct at check-out. You can however change your delivery address for orders in the future, by updating it in your Account Profile.


Who can sign for my parcel?
We offer a door-to-door service or a door-to-counter service. This means that the shipment is delivered to the address and not the person. i.e. if the person is not available, it can be left with anyone at that address such as: a family member, your building’s security personnel, a fellow staff member or a receptionist at your work.


BOLTON FOOTWEAR ONLINE will however not accept responsibility for anyone who receives your order at your chosen address, that is not authorised to do so.

What is your Return Policy?

Do you allow exchanges if I need a different size to that of what I have ordered?
Both Fashion and Sportswear footwear can be exchanged for a different size. Within 30-days of your order being delivered to your door, you can exchange the product(s) you ordered for a different size of the exact same product as long as the preferred size is available.


If not available, we will gladly arrange a voucher, in order for you to purchase an alternative item.


Please note BOLTON FOOTWEAR ONLINE reserves the right to refuse an exchange if the product you wish to exchange, is not sent back to BOLTON FOOTWEAR ONLINE in the exact packaging it was received in, with labels attached, in a resalable condition – this includes any branded packaging the item was received in – Shoes need to be returned in the original shoe box and the shoe box packed in another box and securely sealed.


What do I do if the item I received is not what I ordered?
We do our best to make sure what you ordered meets with your expectations and that it is as described on the product page of the BOLTON FOOTWEAR ONLINE website. However, should BOLTON FOOTWEAR ONLINE deliver the incorrect product(s) to you by mistake, please do not remove the product from its original packaging, do not remove the labels or try the product on at all.


Please contact the BOLTON FOOTWEAR ONLINE at +27 (0)21 590 7000 or email – (Subject line: your order number – Incorrect Item), as soon as possible. BOLTON FOOTWEAR ONLINE will resolve the error by arranging to collect the incorrect product(s) from you and to deliver the correct product(s) to you as quickly as possible.


Please do not try and resolve the problem by placing another order for the exact same product, as you were trying to purchase.

3. Orders

How do I place an order?
Shopping on BOLTON FOOTWEAR ONLINE is convenient and easy, from our Home Page:

  1. Select a product category that appeals to you, within the category you will find our products on offer.
  2. Once you choose a product you will be taken to an individual product page for a more detailed description of the product itself.
  3. Select quantity, size and “add to cart”. The shopping cart will show the add-in and from here you can choose to continue shopping or check-out.
  4. In check-out you will be able to review your cart.
  5. Enter your shipping option and billing address (first time shoppers only) or go straight to the payment page (if you are an existing account holder) and your billing address is correct and up to date.


Can I make changes to my order after I have placed it?
It is unfortunately not possible to add or remove items from an order once you have received your payment confirmation. Items can be returned to us after your order has been delivered by following our returns process as stipulated in our Return Policy. If you would like to buy additional items, you can place a new order.


Can I order by phone?
We don’t do phone or face-to-face orders. You will need to create an Account to make a purchase and shop online at BOLTON FOOTWEAR ONLINE. Or alternatively visit one of our stores.

4. Payments

How can I pay for my order?
We have various safe and easy ways to pay using the PayU gateway. Choose between: Credit card (VISA & Mastercard), Instant EFT, Discovery Miles and Mobicred.


For more information on what is required to process a payment, proceed to ‘place an order’, select your PayU option and follow the easy instructions.


Can I place an order and pay only on delivery?
Unfortunately, no. All orders must be placed and paid for online before an order will be processed in our warehouse and dispatched for delivery to you.


Why have I not received my payment confirmation email?
You will receive your payment confirmation email, once we have received your payment. If you have not received it, you can also log into your account profile and view under “Order History” to make sure your payment was processed successfully.

5. Products

How do I know you carry a certain brand?
Click on the Brands tab on our Home Page and it will take you to a page representing all the Brands that is part of our stable – from there you click on your preferred brand to see what products are available from that particular Brand.


Alternatively, you can enter the name of the Brand in the search toolbar, also located on the Home Page. Search results will present you with the available items from that particular Brand.


How do I find a specific item?
You can shop by product description, or Brand type from the menu or alternatively type the name of your product into our search toolbar located on the Home Page. You can then further filter your search results by colour, size, price and Brand by using the applicable navigation on the product page.


Can you give me more information about a product?
We try our best to provide you with all the available and relevant product information that we have for each product. You will find all the important information on each product page relating to that specific product.


When can I expect new products to be listed on your website?
Our website is frequently updated with the arrival of new stock across all our Brand ranges. We update our product ranges as new fashion lines and Brands are released seasonally. Therefore, keep a close eye on our New Arrivals section.


Is there a way to view the product before I purchase it?
Unfortunately not through BOLTON FOOTWEAR ONLINE. However, why not see if one of our stores are located near you by clicking here .

6. Technical

How do I register an account on BOLTON FOOTWEAR ONLINE?
Registering is free and as easy as 1, 2, 3. To get started you will need an email address. You will also be asked to create an unique password to keep your account safe. Make sure you write it down or that you commit it to memory – in case you forget when you have to log in next time you shop. To register an account, click here.


I have forgotten my password, how do I access my account?
We will help you create a new one. On our login page, click on: ‘Lost your password’. Enter your account email address and we will send you an email with step-by-step instructions on how to create a new password.


How do I create a wishlist?
You will need to create an account or login to your existing account, then click on the wishlist button on the top bar of our website. You can now ‘Create a wishlist’ and start adding items.
